Care Designed Around You

At n1 physio, we believe that the best results come from treating the individual, not just the injury. That’s why we don’t offer one-size-fits-all solutions. Every person is different, and so is their path to recovery. Your story, your goals, your movement patterns—everything we do starts with understanding you.

We begin with data, not guesswork. Our comprehensive approach is built on detailed assessments, manual therapy, open communication, and tailored rehabilitation plans designed to restore movement, build strength, and help you feel more confident in your body. Whether you’re recovering from surgery, managing persistent pain and discomfort, or chasing performance outcomes, our priority is helping you recover faster, regain movement and reach your potential, with clarity and purpose.

Physiotherapy Penrith FAQs

Do you treat Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) patients?

Yes, we are proud to support our veteran community. If you are a DVA Gold or White card holder, you will need a valid D904 referral from your GP. Once this is in place, we can provide physiotherapy services with no out-of-pocket gap, as we bill DVA directly for your care.

What should I wear to ensure the best assessment?

To perform an accurate movement assessment, we need to see how your joints and muscles are interacting. We recommend wearing athletic attire, such as gym shorts and a singlet or t-shirt. If you are coming for a running-related injury, bringing your current running shoes is also highly beneficial for our gait and footwear analysis.

Is there on-site parking available at the Penrith clinic?

Yes, there is parking available directly outside both our clinics. We recommend arriving 5–10 minutes early for your first session to complete any necessary intake paperwork and familiarise yourself with the facility.

How are home exercise programmes delivered?

We believe that clarity is key to consistency. Rather than handing you a vague, hand-drawn sheet, we use a digital exercise platform. You will receive high-quality video demonstrations and specific dosage instructions (sets, reps, and tempo) directly to your smartphone, allowing you to track your progress and maintain perfect form between clinic visits.

Can I access Medicare rebates for my physiotherapy sessions?

If you have a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan from your GP, you are eligible for a Medicare rebate on up to five sessions per calendar year. Please note that we are not a bulk-billing clinic; you will pay the full consultation fee upfront, and we will then process the Medicare rebate back into your nominated bank account on the spot via our HICAPS terminal.

What is the difference between a 'Standard' and an 'Initial' consultation time?

Your initial consultation is longer because it requires a rigorous data collection process, including history-taking and baseline testing. Standard follow-up sessions focus on executing your treatment plan, adjusting loads, and progressing your exercises based on how your body has responded to the previous interventions.

How do you handle Workers’ Compensation or CTP insurance claims?

We accept both Workers' Compensation and CTP (Compulsory Third Party) claims. To ensure a smooth process, please bring your claim number, your case manager's contact details, and a valid GP referral to your initial session. We work closely with insurers to provide the necessary reporting and progress updates required for your ongoing claim and return-to-work programme.

Do you offer remedial massage at your clinics?

We often recommend remedial massage as a complementary service to physiotherapy. While our physios focus on biomechanics and function, our remedial massage treatments target soft tissue tension, circulation, and recovery, helping you manage muscle soreness and stress while undergoing rehabilitation.

Do I need to have an X-ray or MRI before my first appointment?

Our physiotherapists are trained to perform comprehensive clinical examinations that determine the nature of your injury. If our assessment suggests that imaging is necessary to guide your treatment, we can refer you for the appropriate scans or coordinate with your GP. Often, clinical data is more valuable for day-to-day rehab than an isolated image.

Move With Clarity

We believe better results come from treating the person, not just the injury. Whether you’re an athlete returning to performance, someone navigating chronic pain, or simply aiming to move better and live stronger, we’ll walk with you every step of the way.
