How long is a typical NDIS physiotherapy session at the Penrith clinic?

Initial assessments usually run for 60 minutes so we have time to understand your goals and design the right program. Follow-up sessions are typically 30 or 60 minutes, depending on what your plan supports and what we’re working on.

Can n1 physio prepare reports for NDIS plan reviews?

We can prepare progress reports and funding recommendations for your annual plan review or any interim review. Reports outline what we’ve worked on, what you’ve achieved, and what we’d recommend funding next, written clearly for the NDIA.

What happens at the first NDIS physiotherapy appointment?

Your first visit is an in-depth assessment. We sit down with you to understand your NDIS goals, look closely at how you move, and put together a clear program with measurable outcomes. You’re welcome to bring a family member, carer or support coordinator along.

Which NDIS funding category covers physiotherapy?

Physiotherapy is most commonly funded under Capacity Building, specifically Improved Daily Living. Your plan manager or support coordinator can confirm what’s available in your plan, and we’re happy to talk it through with you before you book.

Do I need a GP referral to start NDIS physiotherapy?

No, you don’t need a GP referral to book in. The main requirement is that your NDIS plan includes funding for physiotherapy. If you’re unsure, give our Penrith team a call and we’ll help you confirm before your first appointment.

Move With Clarity

We believe better results come from treating the person, not just the injury. Whether you’re an athlete returning to performance, someone navigating chronic pain, or simply aiming to move better and live stronger, we’ll walk with you every step of the way.
