Physiotherapy at our Penrith clinic

Physiotherapy at our Penrith clinic begins with understanding how the problem affects your life. At our Derby Street clinic in Kingswood, we see people with back pain, sports injuries, persistent pain and rehabilitation needs after surgery. We ask what has happened, what you have tried and what you want to return to, then assess the movements and activities that matter to you. Those findings guide a plan that can change as you progress.

What happens at your first appointment

Initial appointments last 30-60 minutes. Here is what to expect:

Tell us your story

We ask about your symptoms, relevant history, what you have already tried and what you want to get back to.

Assess your starting point

Your physiotherapist examines the relevant movements and uses baseline measures where they will help guide care and track change.

Agree on a plan

We explain what we found, discuss treatment options and agree on the next steps, including what you can work on between visits where appropriate.

Assessment that guides your care

We assess more than the area that hurts. Your history and goals help us choose relevant movement and functional tests, so we can establish a useful starting point. We review those findings as your care progresses and adjust the plan when needed. Our physiotherapists use evidence-informed tools and, where it helps your recovery, work alongside your GP, specialist or surgeon.
